Clinical Service Guide
To actively promote collaboration with other local medical institutions and ensure the sharing of functions among hospitals and clinics, etc., which is the national policy of Japan, our hospital operates the new appointment / referral system. In theory, you will not be able to see a doctor on the day if you do not have a referral letter. If this is your first visit or if you are visiting for the first time after a long absence, please bring a letter of referral from your doctor.
Outpatient care is divided into initial, re-examination, and specialized outpatient clinics. At first, the patient will be examined by the doctor in charge on the on the day of the first visit, and depending on their medical condition, treatment may continue at a re-examination outpatient or specialized outpatient clinic. However, depending on the diagnosis of your doctor, you may be able to visit a specialized outpatient clinic directly. Please contact us with any inquiries.
For patients found to have stable conditions, we may also propose reverse referrals to family doctors.
Request for Cooperation in Training and Research
As a university hospital, we play an important role in student education, clinical training for residents, and medical research. So we hope you understand that we may ask for your cooperation in training and research. However, if you do not wish to be examined by medical students, trainee doctors or large groups, please let reception know in advance.
